FoodClean hosts successful Innovation Day with one of the UK’s largest food producers, Cranswick

Following its rebrand from QJS to FoodClean, the market leading hygiene specialists began 2023 with an exciting Innovation Day at FoodClean’s Experience Centre. The event focused on the newly found strategic partnership with Cranswick, working alongside one another to maximise innovation and collaboration in the food manufacturing sector.

Cranswick specialises in producing a range of high-quality fresh and added value food products to UK grocery retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global food producers. The range includes fresh pork, poultry, convenience, continental and gourmet products, and they recently diversified into pet food. Operating from 20 well-invested facilities across the UK with a team of over 13,000 people, today Cranswick is one of the UK’s largest food producers.

Based in Lincolnshire, FoodClean are market leading hygiene specialists in chemistry, equipment, academy and operator protection for food manufacturers. As the world becomes increasingly focused on sustainability and workplace safety, the company recently launched the Clean Factory Revolution which is a comprehensive system that covers all hygiene requirements.

FoodClean and Cranswick have launched their strategic partnership to drive innovation in best practice cleaning and hygiene, where a solution is not already available in the market.

The Innovation Day marked the beginning of a strategic partnership between both companies. The event included the full FoodClean Experience with a live factory demonstration, collaborations around new innovation projects and how this strategic partnership can develop moving forward.

We asked Lars Turner, Business Development Account Manager at FoodClean, his thoughts about the day:

“The Innovation Day was very important to us as a company, as it showcased our innovative, unique and exciting partnership with Cranswick. It’s fair to say it’s the first of its kind, and the success for both parties has been beyond expectation.

It was great to host the first of many innovation events with Cranswick at our brand new FoodClean Experience Centre. The day was a huge success and FoodClean looks forward to developing the partnership.
